Real Estate Agents FAQ

Answers for Agents

Quick answers to common questions from real estate agents working with JRE Closings on institutional seller transactions.

Closing Coordination

What does JRE Closings do for real estate agents?

We serve as the central point of coordination between you, the buyer, the title company, and the institutional seller. Our team manages the transaction from executed contract through closing, helping ensure deadlines are met and communication stays clear.

How do I submit a fully executed contract?

Send the fully executed purchase agreement and any required addenda to Ops@jreclosings.com as soon as possible after execution. Include the property address, buyer contact information, and the selected title company.

Will JRE Closings communicate directly with my buyer?

We coordinate with all parties, but we typically work through you and the title company to keep communication organized. If a buyer-specific issue arises, we will loop you in before reaching out directly.

Title Company & Escrow

Can the buyer choose any title company?

In most cases, the buyer selects the title company or closing attorney. We then deliver the contract package to that provider and coordinate with them throughout the process. If the seller has a required provider, we will communicate that requirement clearly.

What should I tell the title company about the transaction?

Let them know the transaction involves an institutional seller and that JRE Closings is coordinating the closing. Provide them with our contact information and confirm they understand the seller's specific closing instructions and deed requirements.

How are title issues handled?

We work alongside the title company to identify and resolve title defects such as liens, judgments, tax issues, or missing documents. We escalate matters to the seller when approval or additional direction is needed.

Documents & Signing

What type of deed will the seller provide?

Institutional sellers typically convey title by Quitclaim Deed or a jurisdiction-specific limited warranty equivalent. We will confirm the required deed type early in the transaction and communicate it to the title company.

How are closing documents reviewed and signed?

We review preliminary settlement statements, deed packages, and supporting documents before coordinating signatures with the seller's authorized representatives. We also confirm notarization and execution requirements are met.

What if the settlement statement is incorrect?

We review preliminary settlement statements for accuracy and coordinate revisions with the title company before final approval. If you or your client notice a concern, notify us immediately so we can address it.

Timeline & Deadlines

How does JRE Closings help keep the closing on schedule?

We monitor critical deadlines, track required documents and approvals, and follow up with all parties to minimize unnecessary delays. We also flag potential issues early so they can be resolved before they impact the closing date.

What happens if we need a closing extension?

Contact us as soon as you anticipate a delay. We will review the contract terms, communicate with the seller, and coordinate any required extension documentation.

When will I receive closing status updates?

We provide updates at key milestones and are available to answer questions throughout the transaction. For urgent matters, email or call us directly.
